22nd Annual Blessing of Animals
The day will include pet blessings performed by local clergy, exhibitions from animal aide and support organizations, historic interpretation of the archaeological site, and craft activities. Every blessed pet will receive a commemorative certificate. Digital photos of each animal receiving the blessing will be posted on Mission San Luis' Flickr page and linked from the MSL Facebook page. Well behaved leashed or crated pets of all kinds are welcome to participate. Guests are encouraged to bring donations to be distributed to a local pet rescue charity. Admission to the Mission will be free that day and the event is open to the public.

Join our Mission San Luis archaeologist for a tour of Tallahassee's only National Historic Landmark from an archaeological perspective. Learn how the site was excavated and what was discovered about the Apalachee and Spanish residents from the 17th century.
